James Schmidt will join us Saturday from 1:00-3:00 during the 150th Battle of Galveston Commemoration festivities to sign copies of Galveston and the Civil War, his recently published history.
Also joining us will be Andrew W. Hall, author of The Galveston-Houston Packet, his history of the Buffalo Bayou steamboat business in the mid-19th Century.
