Galveston Bookshop will host a book signing on Saturday, June 15th, 2:00-4:00 p.m. with returning author A. Hardy Roper<\/strong> and his newest Parker McLeod thriller.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Garhole Bar is a favorite Galveston watering hole for locals and weekend fishermen located on the far west end of the island, and operated by Ex-Army Intel Officer, Parker McLeod, who is enjoying a lazy afternoon tending bar. At the opposite end of the island, the Secretary of Homeland Security is making a routine inspection tour when a bomb is set off by Islamic terrorists with a personal vendetta, sworn to kill him.<\/p>\n

As the Secretary lies severely injured in a Galveston hospital, local and federal law enforcement agents enlist Parker’s help to identify the mastermind. The clock is ticking as the terrorists, determined to complete their plot, embroil a beautiful woman scientist, who is Assistant Director of the Gulf Coast Level Four Bio Laboratory, home to the world’s most deadly viruses and pathogens.<\/p>\n

McLeod must race through a twisting trail of deceit and betrayal to rescue the scientist and avoid a cataclysmic event.<\/p>\n
